Sinjavina Skyrace 2026

The Sinjavina Skyrace is a unique mountain trail running event set in one of Montenegro’s most untouched and impressive alpine regions—the Sinjavina massif, near the town of Mojkovac. Designed for runners who seek both physical challenge and pure nature, the race offers an unforgettable experience in a truly wild mountain environment.

The event features two races:

Sinjavina Skyrace (40 km / 2000 m D+), a demanding and technical course created for experienced trail runners, with long ascents, high-altitude sections, and breathtaking panoramic views;

Sinjavina Mini Skyrace (10 km / 1000 m D+), a shorter but intense course, perfect for runners who want to experience skyrunning in a compact and accessible format.

Both races start in Bistrica (Motel Ravnjak) and lead participants through vast alpine plateaus, mountain pastures, ridgelines, and iconic natural landmarks such as Zabojsko Lake. Carefully placed aid stations, time checkpoints, and course markings ensure runner safety throughout the event.

The 40 km race finishes in the main square of Mojkovac, where athletes are welcomed in a vibrant race-day atmosphere, while all finishers who complete the course within the time limit receive a finisher medal and a warm post-race meal.
